Radiological Preparedness Information.... by Talbot County Emergency Services (DES) on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 4:00pm
Talbot County Emergency Services, along with organizations around the world, continue to closely monitor events unfolding in Japan. Although it would be extremely unlikely that our area would see any effects from the events occurring with the nuclear power plants in Japan, we wanted to reassure our community that we maintain a radiological plan which is strongly coordinated with our state and federal emergency agencies. We have also provided several links for additional information regarding radiological emergencies. As always if you have any questions please feel free to contact us at 410-770-8166.
